The beekeepers of Haloze carry out their mission with pride and respect for nature.  Honey obtained from the unspoilt natural surroundings of Haloze is guaranteed to be of high quality.

Come to Ptujska Gora for a honey tasting organised by a beekeeper with 800 hives who uses mobile apiaries to transport his bees to pasture both in the valley of the Dravinja (from Poljčane to Podlehnik) and on the hills of the Pohorje (forest bee pasture). You can view an apiary “in the field” and visit the production plant and shop. Every year Čebelarstvo Kolar submits its products for assessment at the international agriculture and food fair in Gornja Radgona, with excellent results. Products include six types of honey, royal jelly, pollen, beeswax and propolis.
