Drink from the chalice of immortality in the wine cellar at Veselič’s, indulging in traditional cuisine and a selection of 35 wine varieties produced in the region of Haloze. Indulge in sensual romantic pampering at a private Spa Centre of the Haloze Villa and enjoy a delicious 4-course dinner accompanied by a selection of wines at the Pungarčič Tourist Farm. 10.30 Borl Castle (Ankenstein) is situated on a mighty rocky hill overlooking the Drava river. The Castle originally served as a Hungarian borderline stop. Later on, the Castle passed from one owner to another, serving various purposes. Borl Castle is mentioned in the highly acclaimed epic written by the German knight and poet Wolfram von Eschenbach (12th century) as the seat of the Holy Grail. The work is a European spiritual epic taught in any Germanic elementary school. Only the exterior of Borl Castle can be seen.

12.00 – 12.30 The 17th century Zavrč Manor standing on a hill was developed from the original manor of Jakob Szekely of Borl and boasts an impressive interior arcade courtyard. It was owned by famous wine merchants and growers – the Ulm landowners. The Manor was once a political and judicial centre, hence a proper place to sign the Perceval deed, thus making your friendship and love immortal or, rather, everlasting. You can then walk to the Church of Virgin Mary and through the archway to eternalise your happiness. You are also recommended to visit the Gorjup Winery, where you will meet a young wine-grower who produces top quality wines of unforgettable flavour and enjoy a sensational panorama.

13.00 – 14.00 In the wine cellar at Veselič’s, you can enjoy a tasting menu (cheese, tunka, home-made salami) and drink from the cup of immortality. You can taste and choose from 35 varieties of Haloze wine. Wine-growers from Zavrč, together with those from Haloze and its surroundings, combine all traditional know-how, exploiting natural resources to produce premium white wines, such as the Welschriesling, Ranfol, Sauvignon, Furmint and Riesling, as well as aromatic wine varieties, such as the Gewurztraminer and Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains.

14.30 – 17.30 You will experience full relaxation with 3-hour-long wellness pampering at the private Spa Centre of the Haloze Villa, featuring a whirlpool bath, infrared sauna, rest area, sparkling wine, fruit, tea or coffee and a wine corner.

18.00 – 20.00 You can end the day with a romantic dinner at the Pungarčič Tourist and Wine-Growing Farm, which boasts over a decade-long tradition and is home to the Wine Queen. A 4-course romantic menu accompanied by a selection of wines will be a proper end to a memorable day.
